The pipe from the back of the waterpump to the heater matrix is another possibility as it runs under the exhaust manifold.

It was the pipe from water pump to heater matrix i was thinking of, i'd forgotten about the water-cooled turbo!
Someone recently told me about a pattern replacement for that pipe and sent me a link for it, if i can find it i'll add it.
