I've read before on a previous thread regarding oil consumption on the B20F engines. I have a '92 model with a red dipstick (B18FP) and have noticed that between oil changes i have to pour in about 1L of oil. I was always looking under the engine to see if there was a leak somewhere and was puzzled since it doesn't smoke either. It does have a very small leak from the valve cover on the cambelt side and also leaked regularly from the sump plug (even with a new copper washer, had an oil change a few months ago and the problem solved itself). But it's probably a Renault thing since i've noticed this problem on a few Renaults...
Was there something similar regarding oil consumption on the 1.7l engines?
