never had that problem before with a car or volvo did replace a window switch in a volvo truck and it reverted back to standerd setting which is the passenger switch worked the drivers door window and vise versa which was a pain at first but i got used to it as firm wouldnt pay to have it flashed to uk spec and if this is worst that can happen im sure you can put up with it for the price saving
