Finally got to it. Its a CR-708. It played when taken out of the car but it has been stored for some time and parts of it (very little) have some surface rust but not moving parts from what I can see
Happy to post it to you if you'd like it and then you can refund me the postage if it works or is any use to you and if it's no good then it's cost you nothing and you can just recycle it next time you go to the tip?
