The Powershift gearbox is completely different from the Geartronic.
The Powershift transmission and the D2 engine are by Ford, the Geartronic and D3/D4 are Volvo. The Geartronic has a "normal" torque converter the Powershift has a double, mechanical clutch.
I bought a 2013 V40 D3/Geartronic last week having test driven a D2/Powertronic beforehand. There was no comparison - the Powertronic was awful!
