well here is another update for today i needed to get the bumper off the rear of the car and drain the petrol tank ready to take it out
pesky self tapers lol so much easier when you know the trick to the trade and work them out one by one .
after all that was done we could bolt on the frame supports and jack the car up , took the wheels of all round and spin her round to the desired positions
pinned off .
we were set to crack on with the welding
started on the sill area ( inner sill before moving onto the bottom corner repair section ) as it was needing some major work to bring back to full health ( tacked the bottom corner of arch in place for now till i know its in the right place, i need to carry on with the inner arch and rear valance - so i have some datum points to be 100% sure i have the correct fittment
also there was one bit i was not happy how the welder was runing just shows how much difference a quarter turn on the regulator makes on the underside of sill im ashamed of the bird pooh welding #pic 10 thats when i needed to re-adjust the regulator to run as it should do smooth runs
