Mines lowered 40mm with Bilstein B4’s. I have no idea why other people have trouble when they have lowered them as mine still doesn’t look low and I’ve never scraped anything on it anywhere - I live in Huddersfield with lots of steep transitions on roads and loads of speed bumps all over town.
The b4 dampers have tightened the whole car up a bit but it’s still nice and comfy (I didn’t go for B6’s as I heard they were very stiff). Handles better too- it was downright scary before to be honest, and I like to cruise around not pin it everywhere.
I’m going to get dual ARBs on the back and an engine bay brace one day to try and sort the body roll a bit more as I think it could be a bit better but that’ll be it, I won’t do any more.
The ride on my car is great even though it has 17” wheels on it.
