Hi Canis. Our base 2 1.9D definitely do not have a fuel pump in the fuel tank. End off. Not sure where they even got that idea. Quick question, ha e you read the codes with VIDA DiCE? Could the problem be the actual fuel pressure sensor or even the FPR?
It's more common for either the FPR or the fuel pressure sensor to fail, rather than the high pressure fuel pump

Ps. Even if it is the high pressure fuel pump, then it is definitely not coded to the ECU and it is as simple as plug and play for a new one
