Nightmare job!
Vida instructions seem like they’ve been written for a loose engine, there’s no way to reach the back of the EGR valve with the metal bulkhead at the back of the engine in place. Currently struggling to get that removed. Having to drill out that bolt which was in a pool of water.
I’m currently thinking that this job could be quicker by taking the engine out!
Dark now, time to give up for the night.
EGR valve has to come out in order to access the thermostat assembly if anyone wondered.
