A new XC90 (arriving soon) forces a reluctant sale of our XC70 SE Lux. I searched long and hard for this particular vehicle, as I wanted one with built in bumper seats for my kids, meaning I didn't need to mess around with child seats!! A god send!
It also comes with the safety pack which includes BLIS (blind spot detection - cameras in the wing mirrors), which has saved my bacon a few times. It also has the adaptive cruise control, which locks on to the vehicle in front of you and accelerates/brakes accordingly. Needless to say, the new car has been specced with these options!
The car benefits from bluetooth connectivity, which works seamlessly with iPhone and android phones. There's a USB connection in the centre cubby hole that allows control of iPod/iphone music through the head unit and the multi function steering wheel.
The bodywork is very good, with only a few marks commensurate with age however the wheels could probably do with a light refurb, as there are some kerb marks on the fronts. It's probably worth mentioning that it's not long had a full set of tyres (Pirelli scorpion verde).
It has a full service history - most recently a major service + cam belt + water pump at 95,758. The next service is due at 108,000.
