I had this message appear too. It required a new "brake sensor module" to be fitted at the dealers - fortunately still within 3 year warranty, so I have no idea of the cost. I got the distinct impression this was a far from unusual fault.
Also quite a few other posts about this message elsewhere on the forum when I looked.
