To recreate the issue, for example, if i drive downhill and switch from having my foot on the brake to the accelerator there is a noticeable thunk from the engine bay. Volvo had the car 6 weeks but said they couldn't diagnose it so decided I need to have a go myself.

Iam having the same issue. Replace mounts 10k before. bit nothing changed. It would be interesting to see when you replace the torque mount.
