dear colonel sir why are you so sad at the state of the market you should be happy that the cars we love and cherish are achieving good prices , to put the record straight i purchased victor from a nice man near lowestoft for a lot more than 800 i then spent a lot of time and effort removing the steel frame welded into the rear and removing the ikea mattress front bench seat, i then located a rear seat set and new seat belts and started the process of returning her into a useable family estate, yes the front seats are from a later volvo they are very cofortable with no rips or tears and certainly not beaten up (i do wish you`d refrain from lambasting things you have not viewed)and this year for his birthday victor received some new brake pipes shoes and slave cylinders aswell as track rod ends so he has certainly cost me more than the start price on ebay and i do hope to acheive nearer the price on car and classic the new owner will get a lovely solid old amazon with a bundle of spares a large file of paperwork inclding original green log book and first mot, regards mrdiy59
