I mention because my sas failure code was indeed wheel alignment. Code read 'sas sensor or wheel allignment'. When this strut was replaced and rear wheels aligned, it only reset after driving about 10 mins and not immediately, which I guess makes sense.

Could there be a reason why your front or rear alignment went suddenly off it marginal?
