The 1.6 tdi engine in those cars is not a good one, so many issues plague them, turbo is quite soft. But if you like it you can get it looked at and repaired.
Beware car has a dpf and if turbo has failed (might not be that) and thrown oil into the dpf, you'll need a new dpf too.
