Great stuff Mike, I have done this 'in situ' but you are unable to use any leverage so having the special tools to remove the top nut and the ring holding the insert in the leg are essential. BTW you remove the bracket holding the two brake lines from the bottom of the inner wing, this gives you enough movement to not disconnect the brake pipes atall
