wheel alignment advice.... Adjustable rear arms.
I've fitted new shocks and springs to my c30. (bilstein b4, eibach pro kit). Also fitted adjustable upper rear arms to correct the negative camber.
volvo c30 2.0 petrol. Had the lowest option dynamic chassis.
Good news is the new suspension has cleared up all my knocks, clunks and rattles. and only sits about 10mm lower than the standard set up. Ride quality is excellent. Not crashy or harsh at all. In fact an improvement over stock with 80k m on the clock.
Got the car 4 wheel aligned today on a hunter hawkeye system. Garage were good and knowledgeable (not KF).
But, the rear camber is -2.06 on driver -2.41 passenger. Both within spec. I'd like to dial them in to +/- -1.5 to -2.0
but the garage said it was too much hassle to adjust the arms on the car so said to leave it as is.....
Is there a 'trick' or best method for adjusting these arms when on the car? They are the spc? ones. If I have to remove them to adjust them it's going to be guesswork to set up camber and this seems crazy to me.
Would welcome any advice
