There's a bodyshell change with year of manufacture. My 1969/70 144 has fixed seatbelts and it'll be harder to fit inertia reels than I'd hoped because it does not have the (very) big square hole in the sill/B post area to put the reel part [I]inside[I] the sill. Early cars will need the reel attached to the lower seat belt mount along with the lap part of the belt. Mine has 240GLT seats and it's very tight for space.
