That was a joke in part, but Volvo have a parts division that caters for out of production models. Also specialist will arise to cater for an enthusiast product like the Polestar V60 anyway.
Volvo have said they are increasing production due to demand so there will be a significant number on the road before production ceases some time in the future.
I can think of many sports orientated cars with small production runs still on the road after many years.
