Mass does not change with temperature - volume does.
So I have just loosened the fill bolt on the top of the box today ready to do the oil change tomorrow.
I'm out AM so will drop the oil when I get back while the oil is hot. I have already removed the sump cover and cleaned around the sump bolt.
