well vida 2012a works with a dell d630 2gb ram and runs quite fast note as slow as 2010d
and you can run it on windows 7 professional and IE9 and it tries to connect to volvo for the software updates and does pull the new firmware down with no issues. you can also go to offline mode and scan clear dec and alter settings like fuel tank size auto rear wipe on the v40 if you have intermittent wipers on when you go to reverse it will automatically wipe the rear window once.
i have found with 2012A that you can do more then previous versions.
