So, as the project cull continues in a futile bid to free up space so I can build a garage and finally rebuild my Capri, I'm giving serious consideration to finding a new home for the 460 Turbo.
I know full well that I'll eventually regret it, but in fairness it's been sat on axle stands since Christmas and it's not doing it any good not being used.
So, '93 460 CD Turbo Auto.
One of the last two in the UK according to Howmanyleft, was the last one until recently, no idea.
83k (I think) on the clock.
Good engine and gearbox.
Remapped ECU giving 170-180ish bhp.
New discs and pads all round (Pagid) also reconditioned calipers.
480 Turbo front seats and steering wheel, but still have originals.
Eggcrate grille from a 440 but still have the original.
Boot spoiler added.
ORIGINAL REAR ARCHES in good condition, with just the O/S starting to on the seam in a couple of places.
A couple of pics:
Along with the car itself I have an absolute mountain of parts I had intended to fit.
These can come with the car, some may be fitted if a buyer wanted, or neither of the above.
Parts list:
Lesjorfors -40mm lowering springs.
Bilstein B4 shock absorbers.
New genuine Volvo cat back exhaust.
Polyurethane wishbone bushes.
New drop links all round.
New track rod ends.
Also have a spare low mileage engine and auto 'box, a Turbo manual gearbox and a selection of wheels including Ronal R10s.
Anyone potentially interested, let me know.
I won't be selling any parts until any potential deal is made on the car itself.
Cheers,
Steve.
