Have just read this topic and seeing the photos, brings back so many memories.
Foggyjames says that early 340's are rare but you don't see many of any age very often
I used to have a 1985 1.4 and then a 1989 1.7
Fantastic cars. Not high tech and so easy to work on.
I do recall that on any journey, the main cars seemed to be Sierra's, Mk 3 Escorts or 340's. Loads and loads of 340's. Happy days
