Domhart10 - I agree with above, looks like a failure, defo not the feature. Its not supposed to recognise or "guess" whether you are racing or granny driving - its either on or off. From what I remember, my car will disable some systems after checking and deciding "something is not right". It also will react to overheated breaks and that was my first thought when seeing your message. Would that happen after hard run and few heavy breakings, maybe? As "traction control" does rely on combination of brakes and engine throttling, my guess would go towards braking system.
