you have already got your file from your ecu that you sent Don?,
I have a 2002 163 D5 so it uses a different ecu to yours, I did it on my test bench using a eprom programmer , then I got a clone MPPS and use that I have to do it on the bench as I have to hold a pin of the ic to ground when I power up the ecu, and that puts it in to Boot mode and then MPPS can talk to the ecu,
I am going to install a switch on the ecu so I can leave it in the car if I need to do any changes,
I think shark have a softloader so you don't need to do this,
also there is BSR Tuning that use a softloader, and superchips that have a number of fitters,
and Rica tuning,
