Many old rubber bushes show signs of splitting upon visual inspection, but as there is no play/movement when moved about with a pry bar....it's a pass.
Only a fail when there is.

Had the same advisory 4 years running on my 1999 V70 and the tester explained why.........

So if it fails the MOT they need doing, or checking out if you are getting "clonks, squeaking or uneven tyre wear".......
