Yesterday I tried for two and a half hours to find the fault why I don't get the correct temperature shown in my instrument.
I tried everything that is mentioned in VIDA, I even replaced the cable from the mirror to the PDM. Didn't work.
So I called it a night...
This morning I went to the car again and suddenly I remembered one can read the actual value with VIDA. So I checked the ambient temperature settings and the supply voltage, everything fine. But still no or incorrect temp in the dash.
And then I tried the sensor in the drivers door. What can I say, ambient temp -4°C... Damn it!
So I called my dealer, tomorrow I'll see what a new sensor does...
But, I'm honestly surprised about the price: 20.-€
