Undoubtedly a lot more smiles per gallon bgn but probably fewer miles per gallon. Cars in the 70s did 30 mpg from my recollection.

The problem all old cars face is the increasing low emotions zones, how many folk had to get rid of their perfectly functional landrovers and transit vans in London when they extended it's boundaries. Not sure if I can use the 7 seats the landrover has to collect the family from Heathrow now or I have to use the Volvo and 2 of them catch the bus. The boundary used to be the city side of the airport but think it's now further out.
