Yes granted, had same problem but soon adapted. Believe me I was a conviction manual driver and never thought I would see the light but I did.
The 8 speed is a delight and as a person who loves driving it has enhanced my driving enjoyment.
I tow a classic car to shows all over the country and my XC60 does this with aplomb and in great comfort.
