They did send the cylinder head to a specialist apparently to assess it .You are indeed correct in saying that they couldnt tell me for definite that it was repaired already but that he was "fairly certain " .
The price quoted is 8,500 pounds and Volvo will pay 2800 of this .
I'm in the process of getting the report that the garage sent to Volvo .
