Made two knobs into one better knob today.
A bit fiddly - but I got there.... in the end.
It's worth noting that once you've got to stage 4 that it takes quite a bit of 'persuasion' to get the relase button out far enough to to the twiddly bits. This is because of a sort of friction stop that prevents the button popping out during normal use!
At final assembly, the positioning of the two pins has to pretty accurate for it all to fit and, of course, the same persuasion to get the release button out will be needed to get it in again!
It's a pity that those links lead to such expensive parts! I could ideally do with a brand new one... but, at that price!
