I suppose what I am trying to achieve, by having this poll, is what it has cost me in my first year of ownership of my car is reasonable, considering its age (02) and present mileage (149K).

Hopefully, it will get to a stage where after my next impending expenditures, eg, front discs, front cv joint/abs reluctor ring, 4 new tyres, lower ball joints, will be the last for a while. Just seems like I fix one problem then another one appears

I regret to this day selling my previous V70R due to the fact that it needed 4 new tyres, a service and cam belt/ carriers /water pump change....all at the same time. Just did not have the money (at that time) to pay for it all, hence the sale.
