You are right it did come with an M59 gearbox which broke, So a good M59 was fitted along with an 850R clutch. The M56 is regarded a stronger gearbox and allows fitment of an LSD so its not a step backwards really.

As said a Quaiffe LSD is an option and one that i was going to do without a doubt, The load cover is in my shed along with various other bits of trim from the car but there was never a dog guard.

Headlining isnt an issue, Its mainly held on by clips around the roof

Its fine, Your asking valid questions which im more than happy to answer. The gearbox would have to be removed to fit an LSD but the best option is to buy a good replacmement M56 and fit the LSD to that then just swap the boxes over.
