How much is a new barrel?
This has just happened to my wife's V70! It so frustrating. At first I was unable to get the key past position 1 but after WD40 and a lot of key jiggling the key does turn but it's very stiff. I suspect its the same pin/spring scenario as mentioned earlier.
I need to get this fixed ASAP but as I am not a DIY'er it's going to the garage. Does anyone have any ideas how much this will cost? Does it have to goto a dealer or can my local independent do the job?
