I ran into the same problem as yourself yesterday evening in my 2006 S60. I have just finished putting everything back together,two allen headed bolts this time in case its has to come off again. I removed the small pin as well and lubricated the lock. It seems to be working fine so far. Just wondering if you had any issues with yours since.
