It is now back to being too cold for painting - still mustn't grumble - it has been a fantastic warm summer and autumn so far.
I'm managing to do little bits of paint with help from the UV warmer and a fan heater but it is all a bit touch and go (certainly can't do big bits with this setup)
Still I managed to try some POR15 2K Urethane top coat today.
Exciting stuff (If you consider how boring it is to watch paint dry) =>
It is sold as a super tough hard wearing top coat
The instructions say you can just brush it on and it will flow so the brush strokes won't be seen...
...I thought - yeah right...
...but - shock - horror - it does actually do what it says on the tin!
So it is going to go on the wheel wells as a final layer of ninja stone chip proofing and on places such as the spare wheel well where I suspect chafing might occur.
