This seems to be the week of me asking daft questions but here goes:
I can see they've cut the end of the bolt down and also the hex head looks rounded, how has over-tightening damaged the 'end' of the threads though?
Please note I don't know the theory behind how stretch bolts actually work, I know about head bolts being a 'once only' fit.
