I've checked and 112mph is 180kmh. I presume the kmh figure was leading this and that is a nice round number.

No issue for us in the UK, you shouldn't be near 3 figures at any stage even if it is to escape an accident I would suggest. The Germans might not like it but then they may not buy Swedish anyway so they may say so what? As someone has already said, a bit of marketing.
