which just goes to prove that some will always find a way to justify their position.
An audio warning that isn't noticeable isn't much of a warning.
And one assumes Volvo has timed the bongs such that they happen at such time that they allow time to act, otherwise what's the point. Audio always useful in case your eyes are momentarily elsewhere. Be a bit silly for volvo to assume people's eyeline is not momentarily diverted and hence not do the audio warning if a HUD exists.
So in summary, if yours never makes the noise, it would appears that its faulty.
