You have diagnosed the fault!!
there are a couple of sets of spider couplings and a centre bearing on prop shaft so could be any of those. Has shaft balance weight come off?

No as I fitted a brand new prop and noise is back.
I would say the diff is not being put under load without the prop causing the noise to go awaym
