I have replaced the leather on one of the front seats. As ITSv40 says it is do-able but is a pain to do.
There's what's called hog rings that pull the fabric to the cushion, on replacing the leather I used to tie wraps. I seem to think I might have disconnected the battery before removing seat from car just to be on the safe side.
