Thanks for this - is there any downside to fitting the cooler? e.g. on an engine with a thermostat stuck open, the engine can't reach operating temperature & thus you get poor fuel economy as it tries to warm up.
Would the gearbox suffer in any similar way if it never reaches the ~85c operating temperature?
