Buy direct from dealer and ask for discount

OR

This is how I fixed mine which is a far more substantial repair.

Trying to get a hole through the ball on the arm on the engine is very difficult/impossible with a drill but what worked for me like a charm was to drill a hole through the centre of the end of the link arm cup with it off the car the reattach .

You now have a centre point to work with. Get a small shorts nail and hold it in pliers before heating it to cherry red.

Push this thin nail through the pre drilled hole and you should make an indentation on the plastic ball below it.

Remove the plastic arm and then continue with the thin nail reheating when necessary until you have burnt through the ball entirely.

You can then either fit the volvo kit or a nut and bolt.

Fitting a stopper as mentioned in the thread is particularly useful.

Good luck.
