you mentioned timing mark on cam pulley.. this is unique for every engine and once the three screws are undone it has lost it's precision. you need to use the cam locking pin through the back of the engine into the back exhaust camshaft pulley hole . then line the crankshaft marks up with the crank positioning tool which goes in a hole in the block behind the starter motor. The mark on the lower casing and pulley should then be perfectly lined up .When engine has run then make your own new mark in the edge of the cam pulley with a small chisel . ( the original may line up in which case fine )
