Commando? Is that like the ones builders use (yellow for 110v or buy for 240v)? If your home one is run off the standard 13A domestic ring, you might blow a fuse if the Volvo tries to demand 16A. An alternative is to run a separate 16A rated supply to your commando socket.
I would have to assume that the VOC app would be able to schedule charging for anywhere in your saved locations.
I have three saved locations (you can have 7 I think) and they all offer scheduled charging, although I've only used it at home. The other two are public charge points with which I use my Type 2 cable.
