RE: brake calipers
It is possible that the calipers are the same and that the disc/drum units are also the same. However the earliest 850s had four stud wheels although IIRC they are all 15inch size as standard. The best way is to checkout what your manual (Haynes) says, then confirm by what the 700 manual says.
