Cool Checked mine

hi, Just had a look at mine and it seems that the rubber pipe is fastened to the metal pipe with a crimped ring, these are like jubilee clips but single use. See EZ hose clip for an example on the web.
I have recently encountered similar on a Ford fiesta and just opened them up with a screwdriver and pulled off the ribber hose. replacing with jubilee clips when re assembling.

That said the hose on mine look very wells bonded to the ally so I would consider disconnecting the other ends of the rubber hoses, at the front. One goes to where the main top hose leaves the block for the radiator, the other end of it, (as it splits into a Y shape) goes further down and would need more investigation.
Either way there is some water to remove from it first.

Let is know how you get on.
