Possible split induction pipe?
Hi oh knowledgeable folk,
I’m suspecting that I’ve got a split intake pipe somewhere near the turbos on my E5 D5 (170k miles on a 2010MY V70). My fuel economy is pants, and I can hear a turbo whistle when driving with the window down - so a pointer to attention needed somewhere imo.
Are these engines known to have a weak pipe in this area as they age (as the P2 does)? Asking on here as for the life of me I can’t work out how to get down the back of the engine to pull the pipes off for inspection.
