Default DTC codes - Dealer's Official VIDA DICE Vs Clone

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if an official Volvo dealer's VIDA can access more DTC codes that the clone boxes and the DTCs displayed in the hidden menu in the dashboard? The reason I ask is I took my recently purchased 2011 XC90 D5 (70000 miles) to a Volvo indie specialist to have it checked over before the 3 month dealer warranty expires. A few weeks prior I had bought a VIDA DICE clone which was advertised as the 'full chip' version (the silver and black box with the multi coloured lights, it shows up in VIDA 2014D as DiCE-206751). The first time I ran the diagnostic it brought up various DTC codes so I cleared them all and have been scanning it regularly with no DTCs appearing since.

The Volvo Indie ran a diagnostic scan and then perforned a full CAN software update (for a hefty fee!) After checking over the car and test-driving it he reported a clean bill of health and sent me on my way. After checking the receipt with the attached diagnostic print out a few days later I noticed some DTC codes in the report, the most alarming being "TCM-0054 Lock-up pressure switch jammed - The DTC is found active".

I've scanned it with my VIDA clone several times since and also accessed the hidden DTC menu in the dashboard and this DTC is not coming up in either. His diagnostic was run prior to the full CAN update so I guess it's possible the update cleared the DTC. I'm taking it back tomorrow for another diagnostic scan but just wanted to check if anyone knows for sure if there's a difference between what the dealer's VIDA can read compared to the clones and the hidden dash menu.
Apologies for the long post.
