To help you with the sale. Heres the history as i remember of it and some pics.
The 940 it was fitted to has done 122k, but at 77k it went in for its service at the volvo dealers for no doubt the cambelt change service and no less than 80miles later it was back to have a brand new engine fitted, me thinks the volvo dealer cocked up!!!!
So they fitted a new longblock, which is new cylinder block and cylinder head. I would imagine this cost somewhere in the region of over £2000, i know a B230ET 8v longblock cost £1600 from the dealers.
It it the late b234f with the auto tensioner as you would expect from a factory engine, it runs very sweet, the owner i bought it off changed the oil n filter every 5k.
I removed the cambelt cover to inspect the belts just to make sure they werent on the verge of snapping
